It contrasts ask versus guess culture, showing how clear requests preserve relationships and create better outcomes. Participants learn practical strategies for asking effectively, including building genuine relationships, being prepared, and making specific, clear requests. 

The talk also addresses what happens after the ask—how to respond to yes, no, or uncertainty with resilience, vulnerability, and authenticity. Ultimately, it emphasizes that meaningful growth and connection come from the simple but powerful practice of asking, listening, and sharing.

Brittany Scott is a passionate advocate for women in business and for personal growth. She is the founder of GROW WIWO, a company that empowers women through networking, education, and leadership opportunities, including monthly networking mixers and conferences around the state of Indiana.
